Privacy Policy

Portability ("we", "us", "our") is operated by AI Lead Lab, LLC, a Florida limited liability company. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect information when you use the Portability mobile application and website (collectively, the "Service").
1. Eligibility
The Service is intended for users 13 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn we have collected such information, we will delete it. Parents or guardians who believe their child has provided us with information may contact us at support@portabilityapp.net.
2. Information We Collect
- Contact details you provide voluntarily, such as name, email address, and stated travel interests.
- App usage events, such as selected travel moment, viewed guides, and calculator interactions.
- Device and diagnostic data, such as device type, operating system version, app version, and crash logs, used to improve reliability.
- Approximate location data only if you explicitly grant permission. We do not access precise GPS location.
3. How We Use Information
- To provide and maintain the Service, including beta access, support, and product updates.
- To improve travel guides, offer discovery, and FX savings estimates.
- To understand aggregate usage patterns and prioritize feature development.
- To send you operational communications related to your account.
4. Tracking & App Tracking Transparency (Apple)
Portability does not track you across apps or websites owned by other companies. We do not use the Apple Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA). No App Tracking Transparency prompt is required.
5. Third-Party Services
The Service is built using Capacitor (Ionic). We do not currently use third-party advertising SDKs, marketing attribution SDKs, or social-login SDKs in the mobile MVP. Web-managed subscription and referral features (post-MVP) may use Stripe for payment processing; Stripe's privacy practices are described at stripe.com/privacy.
6. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with: (a) service providers that process data on our behalf under written confidentiality agreements; (b) authorities when legally required; or (c) successor entities in connection with a merger or acquisition.
7. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. Upon account deletion (see Section 10), we delete or de-identify your data within 30 days, except records we are required to keep for legal, security, fraud-prevention, or accounting reasons.
8. Your California Rights (CCPA / CPRA)
If you are a California resident, you have the right to: (a) know what personal information we collect, use, disclose, and sell; (b) request deletion of your personal information; (c) opt out of the sale of personal information (we do not sell personal information); and (d) not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. To exercise these rights, email support@portabilityapp.net.
9. Your European Rights (GDPR / UK GDPR)
If you are in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection to processing, and the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. Our legal bases for processing are: (i) performance of a contract; (ii) legitimate interests in operating and improving the Service; and (iii) your consent where required.
10. Account Deletion
You can delete your account at any time from within the app on the Account screen ("Delete My Account" button) or by emailing support@portabilityapp.net with the subject line "Delete Portability Account". Deletion requests are processed within 30 days.
11. Security
We use industry-standard administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy. Material changes will be notified via the app or by email. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
